Social Media Traffic, It Is a Mistake if You don't Take Advantage of It!

Social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and many others are great source of internet traffic. Take Facebook as an example, it is the second website in the world that has the most visitors, next to Google. It means that it has a lot of traffic. From business point of view, it could be a massive source of traffic for your website too.

So why bother about them? It is because in terms of logical reasoning, you should go to where most of the traffic is. You simply just have to follow where the crowd is going!

Here are some reasons on why you should take advantage of the Social Media to attract traffic to your website:

1. Massive flow of traffic

In June 2012 alone, Facebook had 158,560,778 visitors! Just imagine how much traffic you can have if you can attract 0.01% of it. It equates to 15,856 visitors per month, or 528 visitors daily. It ranks second with Google in the lead. And who does not like it? We obviously like more traffic, lots and lots of internet traffic. For Twitter it has 42,653,274 visitors for the month of June this year. You can picture out how massive the traffic they have that we can possibly take advantage of.

2. Creating your account is free

Creating an account in any Social Media websites is free and it is easy to do as well. We like something for free especially if they add value to our business. It would be unwise if you will not create your free Facebook and Twitter account. You can also create an account for your business which I recommend you should do. Many business organizations these days are making use of Social Media's popularity to promote their value proposition to their existing customers and prospects. You should do the same.

3. It is not difficult to use

It is really simple to use in my opinion. With today's technology, getting connected to the Internet is a thing of daily routine. Even some children these days already have an account. So there is no reason for any Internet Marketer not to have one. It is free and simple to use. The simpler it is, the better it will be. What else we can ask for?

4. You can advertise for free

Free advertisement in Facebook is possible through your existing friends in your account. The same is true with Twitter. Your ads will become viral once your friends will do the work for you through sharing it to their friends. The traffic cycle will continue once the sharing will goes on and on.|

5. You can target your customers

This is not easily possible for the free ads. However, paid ads at Facebook will do the job. You should do this if your financial resource allows you to do it. This is fastest way at Facebook to reach out to your target customers.

Email Marketing - How to Use It Effectively to Maximize Its Potential Benefits?

There is a situation when most of the strategies you will use in your online business will work better when applied. We often call this in process optimization as best condition.

In Email Marketing, it simply means the correct conditions on when and how to apply those strategies to get the expected results.

It is a lot easier to say than actually doing it. In most cases, it is not really that simple thing to do.

Let's find out together some of the logical conditions on when to use Email Marketing:

1. Product addresses customer's problem

For an effective Email Marketing, you need to have products and services that offer a solution to the customer's problem! It is a simple logic that sometimes being overlook by online marketers. No matter how great your products are, they will not sell unless they address the needs of the customers.

2. Correct niche subscriber's list

This is important. You can not deliver the correct products to the wrong customers and vice versa! This will lead them to think of you being an annoyance instead of a problem solver. When this happens, many of your customers will just simply walk away from you. Obviously, you do not want this situation to occur.

3. Correct product link

Before you go live for your online product link, always test to check if the link is working as it should. This happens to me in many occasion where the link given is not working correctly. It is a waste of my time going after the product owner to correct the problem. Not to mention the disappointments that you feel along the way.

4. Reasonable broadcast frequency

It is normal for your subscribers not to buy on the first email you sent to them. Some of them are still contemplating on whether to buy or not. Therefore, it is necessary to send some follow-up emails. For me one email a day is more than enough. Some recipients do not mind receiving two follow-up emails a day. But for me it is already too much especially if you do not like the products that are up for sale. You need to do a test on what is the best frequency that works well for your subscriber's list.

5. Support appreciation

It is a good practice to show an appreciation on the support given by your customers. You can give some free downloadable items even though they have not buy anything from you yet. This is what I call relationship building with your subscriber's list. Once the emotional trust is there, it will be a lot easier to sell for more.

Article Marketing, what Considerations You have to take note Before starting out?

Does anyone of you had the chance to watch the movie, Ratatouille? If yes, you should be familiar with the phrase somewhere in the movie that says “anyone can cook“.

When applied to article marketing, allow me to borrow that phrase from the movie and tweak it a little bit. It will sound like “anyone can write“!  It sounds a little pre-sumptuous to me but it might be true. Afterall, we go to school early in our life.

But is Article Marketing really works for everyone when applied to online business? The answer depends on the individual online marketers‘ belief and effort spent on the subject.

Let us take a look at some of the challenges that an online marketer will be facing when employing Article Marketing:

1. Knowledge on the Niche

To write some articles for your online business niche, you need to know it well and be an expert on it. This is the value that you can give to the readers of your articles. The same principle applies if you have multiple niches. You’ve got to educate yourself in your niches.

2. The proficiency in writing

Does everyone doing online business can write? Yes, absolutley! But are they all proficient in writing? The answer is NO. Not everyone can write proficiently. So this is a big challenge in itself if you have to do it yourself and do not even think you can do it. Can we pay somebody to write some articles for you? Yes and it is a good option, provided you do not mind spending money on it.

3. The time to write the first article

This is the biggest hurdle. Once you will pass this and have written your first article, the rest could be easier. But with all the hectic schedules we have and all the activities line up daily, who has the time to write an article? Of course, the situation is different when you are a full time online marketer. I am quite sure you have plenty of time to write. But it will a tough time for those who are still working and at the same time doing online business.

4. The time to write more articles

If writing the first article is already a challenge, how much more writing a lot of articles. How many more articles to write? The answer is as many as possible. This is to gain more exposure online and get your presence noticed. Bu then again, do you have the time to do it? Are you good enough to do it? Do you have enough knowledge in your Niche? These are valid questions that you need to consider when doing Article Marketing.

5. Keeping the momemtum going

Unless you really like writing, keeping the momentum going will be a big challenge for you. Sooner or later you will realize that more and more articles are needed to achieve the level of online traffic that you projected by doing Article Marketing. Humans by nature are good starters. But the ones who reached the finish line are those that managed to keep going at all cost. You need commitment to finish what you have started.
Just a side note on that movie Ratatouille, the next words mentioned after the phrase “anyone can cook“ was “yes but it doesn‘t mean you should“! Therefore, you have to decide yourself if Article Marketing is good for you or not.

Article marketing has many advantages that you can imagine, especially for beginners. In my case, it opens up another hobby and a chance to help someone in online business with interest in Article Marketing.
